Colin Marshall is a superb personal trainer. I trained with him last summer and got fantastic results. What worked for me was his motivation but most importantly his patience and understanding for my own personal limits.
Colin really knew how to get the best out of me in a workout, his knowledge on how the body works through fitness and diet is excellent and just eye opening. I’ve continued to use his techniques when I train myself as they proved to be the best!

Having spent most of my life as professional footballer, 17 years, I was always pretty fit, strong and powerful. Or so I thought! Unfortunately a serious knee injury curtailed my career. During my rehab with England and New York Knicks Physio, Dave Hancock, I spent several months watching Colin and his training methods. When I finally decided to call it a day on my career, I still had a desire to stay fit, improve on what I had. I’d never been one for personal trainers, but Colin just seemed different, no machines, no button pressing, always different and I wanted to be able to some of the amazing things I’d seen him do.

PT has fundamentally changed my life. thought I was fairly knowledgeable about strength & conditioning training and on that basis I had not planned seeking out help and paying for a personal trainer. If I was to go down the PT route I only wanted to work with the best. I spoke with numerous members of the
gym and other personal trainers.
They all recommended I approach Colin as my training was going to be specifically tailored to sport. You made a good first impression really listening to me and understanding my needs before taking me through our first workout that demonstrated your expertise. The PT experience has helped me set stretching fitness goals and provided me with the important direction, technical guidance and support to achieve these. What I most like about our PT sessions is how much more efficient I can make my workout with a well-planned combination of exercises and as I quickly realised by improving my technique performing the exercises. PT is expensive but a wise investment, as it has improved MY LIFE. You are a great coach.

I have always enjoyed exercise but had become bored of traditional gym setup so wanted something new. Sudden Movements was recommended to me by friend so I set up personal training sessions with Colin and Ian.
From the first session, I was instantly impressed by the knowledge and dedication of the trainers towards getting the best out of their clients. Their training style is completely different to anything I had tried before and it has achieved results that I have not previously been able to reach. Both Colin and Ian have helped to keep the sessions fresh and interesting, something which is important to me.
Alongside the physical training, I have learnt about nutritional fitness and have been able to completely overhaul the way I think about and approach both my nutrition and my fitness. The Sudden Movements gym is now part of my regular routine and I would not think twice about recommending them to anyone looking to improve their fitness.
