Dan Liddiard is back with us once again for a thrilling weekend of Hand-balancing and Acrobatics workshops in February 2024.
This two-day event will be divided into Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced sessions.
HAND-BALANCING
Dan’s approach to Handbalancing is a blend of traditional Russian techniques and a range of innovative exercises that promise to elevate your skills. He’s dedicated to refining your fundamentals, eliminating any unwanted habits, and enhancing your technical prowess in Handbalancing. By the end of each class, you’ll grasp the fundamental mechanics of this art and be able to apply it to your own practice.
HANDSTAND PREREQUISITES BEFORE SIGNING UP
Beginner Workshop:
Perfect for those who’ve never attempted a handstand before, all the way to those who can manage a 10-second freestanding handstand. No prior Hand-balancing experience is needed.
Intermediate/Advanced Workshop:
Tailored for participants capable of maintaining a 10 PLUS second handstand or comfortably balancing on one arm.
ACROBATICS
These Floor Acro Workshops will immerse you in essential drills, fostering a secure and sustainable acrobatic practice. Dan will unveil his unique training methods while offering personalised guidance to all attendees. Through a series of exercises and progressions, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to perform various acrobatic techniques. Challenge yourself with exercises and games thoughtfully designed to enhance your technical proficiency and overall awareness.
These workshops serve as a strong foundation for your practice and provide a fun, supportive space for skill development.
ACRO PREREQUISITES BEFORE SIGNING UP
Open to those with little to no acrobatic experience. If you can do cartwheels, forward rolls, or backward rolls, you’re more than welcome.
