NEURAL

**** SOLD OUT*** HAND-BALANCING WORKSHOP ***SOLD OUT***

There are many ways we can challenge our handbalancing skills. By increasing the variety, complexity and sensory input that we use to stay on our hands we make our upside down balance more resilient and, also important to us and our learning process, we have even more fun!

Sudden Movements is excited to bring to you its first Handstand workshop of the year – NEURAL with Guillermo Justel, which provides a perceptual exploration into handbalancing.

Closed eyes, head positions, points of view, shoulder motions, tense and relaxed, orderly and chaotic, cognitive load & distractions, static and dynamic, internal and external challenges…

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT GUILLERMO

After some years with a serious yoga practice, Guillermo started committing to handbalancing since 2010. He has studied and practised with a variety of circus artists and movement and dance teachers from all over the world such as Yuval Ayalon (whom he assists at his yearly UK visits), Valérie Doucet, Nicolás Montes de Oca, Mikael Kristiansen and Tom Weksler. He has also paid numerous visits to  the late handbalancing master Claude Victoria in France and continues to attend movement classes of all sorts throughout London. He has occasionally performed as a dancer and handbalancer in local and national UK events and festivals.
